" As the youngest son of a Volunteer Fire Chief, I grew up around the firehouse. As a teen I became interested in Rescue & EMS after I followed my wife Anita into the field. After graduating East Carolina University with a BFA in Education I was a public school teacher for 13 years while I funded my volunteer habit in Emergency Services. I became the Chief of our Rescue & EMS Department while instructing regionally in EMT and Rescue Technician.
In 2007 I was able to move into a career in Emergency Management which has allowed me tremendous opportunity to work with many extremely talented professionals.
In 2017 the idea of NEX was born, We brought together my passion for education with the passion of emergency services. It has truly been a blessing being able to work all over the country with dynamite agencies.
When not working or teaching, I love serving my Church especially with the youth.
My wife Anita and I have 2 adult children Casey and her husband Sam, Evan and his wife Chelsea have our beloved grandchildren Harper Rose, And Theo Hudson
Our Family would love to serve you and your community."
